We will explore the differences between Ice Wines, Iced Wines, Dessert Wines and Late Harvest Wines - from grape selection to processing, what are the differences between ice and iced and why – all myths will be de-bunked! "Library Tasting Event" with Holly Howell
Mrs. C. has given Holly the keys! Join us for an exclusive night of Casa Larga Library wines, perfect pairings, and scrumptious desserts. This very special 5 course tasting will include two library wines and two food pairing per course. We will taste: 2005 Oak Reserve Viognier and 2006 Reserve Viognier, 2004 American Oak Chardonnay and 2008 Chardonnay, 2005 Oak Reserve Pinot Noir and 2007 Finger Lakes Pinot Noir, 2000 Due Mille and 2007 Meritgage, our London Winner – Best Ice Wine in the World - 2005 Fiori Vidal Ice wine and the 2008 Vidal Ice Wine. Chef Cass Broman has created distinct and delicious pairings for each wine course such as: Crab cakes with jalapeno remulade, vegetable samosas with sweet/spicy Tamron dip, hearty mushroom bisque shooters, Meritage duck breast with braised lentils, pork roulade, seafood ravioli with tarragon crème, classic crème brulee and a classic cheese course plus more.
Reservations required. Only 60 seats available.
Tickets are $75 pp for WLC members, $85pp, or $160 per couple.
