Lilac Events Happenings at Casa Larga: May 1-31 - New Lilac Hill Wine Freezes, a wine slushie made with the Lilac Hill wine, will be available at the Casa Larga Wine Shop to enjoy on the patio. $5 per Freeze

Noted for its floral characteristics and unique blue bottle, this wine has served as a key symbol of Rochester’s lilacs since its creation in 1994. A smooth and mildly sweet white wine, with a floral nose and refreshing citrus characteristics. Produced from a proprietary blend of Riesling and Cayuga, this award winning wine is a “Festival Classic.”
To commemorate the 2013 Lilac Festival, Casa Larga will produce a limited quantity of special labeled Lilac Hill wine. The bottles will don the official design of this year’s festival, created by Amy Margolis and will be available throughout April and May at Casa Larga’s Wine Shop in Fairport, as well as at select liquor stores (available in 750 and 1.5 sizes), or by the glass or bottle at local restaurants.
