Annual Wine and Food Pairing

Our Summer Wine Maker's Dinner is being combined with our August WAW!

Myth #4 White wine pairs with fish/fowl and red wine with meat.

Time: start at  6:00pm
Cost:      $55 per person, $45 per person for Wine Lover Club Members
Location: Casa Larga Vineyards

Description: Holly Howell and Chef Cass Broman are paired together again In this wine seminar and dinner, separate fact from fiction when it comes to the rules of red and white wine food pairings. Where did the myth begin?  Are there rules?  Is it personal preference?  Guests will learn the secrets to wine and food pairings.  The dinner served is an integral part of the seminar. 

Dinner: Pinot Noir paired with Gorgonzola Grilled Shrimp and Grits; Petite Noir paired with Sriracha Marinated Chicken Wings with Fried Green Tomatoes; Rose paired with Hickory Smoked Pork Loin Slider with Rose Mayo; Riesling paired with Spanish Chorizo Sausage and Bok Choy Slaw; White Sangria paired with Poland Smothered Beef Satay with a Fresh Cauliflower Cream; ending with a Fresh Lemon Sorbet.  Guest Speaker Holly Howell
