A spicy, dry, Alsatian style Gewürztraminer. Refreshing with lively acidity and notes of minerals and stone fruits.
Ratings:
84 Points – 2010 Wine Spectator
Vineyard Notes:
A winter-sensitive, yet vigorous vine that needs constant attention to assure the fine flavors of the grape are preserved.
Production Notes:
Cool fermentation in stateless steel tanks is used to maintain the fruit and floral aromas and flavor of the wine. This wine is racked quickly after fermentation to prevent lees contact. Upon pressing, juice is reserved to add back at bottling to enhance body, aroma and balance of the wine.
Food Pairing:
Spicy Asian cuisine, chicken and garlic, spicy black beans
