Lilac hill is a smooth and mildly sweet white wine blend reminiscent of a Riesling. With a floral nose and refreshing citrus characteristics, Lilac Hill is the perfect accompaniment to the annual Lilac Festival in May. To commemorate the 2012 Lilac Festival, Casa Larga has produced a limited quantity of special labeled Lilac Hill wine. The bottles will feature the official design of this year’s festival and will be available throughout May.

The grapes used in the production of this wine are highly cold-tolerant, making them ideal for New York and the northern Finger Lakes region. The grapes are harvested and processed at Casa Larga’s vineyards and winery in Fairport.
This wine is fermented using Cold Fermentation in stainless steel, bringing out the fruit flavor and aromas in the wine.
A versatile wine, Lilac Hill pairs excellently with a variety of foods, ranging from zesty citrus flavors to spicy cuisine. Suggested foods include fresh spring salad with citrus dressing, New York State granny smith apples and spicy Pad Thai.
